The "H" provides programs and courses in the health sciences, such as dental hygiene, medical imaging technology, medical laboratory science, paramedic education, respiratory care, and polysomnography.
The "A" represents the humanities, social sciences, communication, and mathematics.
The "S" represents biology and the pre-professional programs leading to graduate work in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, and other graduate level health professions. In addition to its academic programs, the College of HAS also includes the Martha Anne Dow Center for Health Professions.
