¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Begins Search for Executive Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Cultural Engagement

In a continued effort to increase awareness and create a more welcoming and inviting work and learning environment, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ is searching for an Executive Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Cultural Engagement (DICE). The University is conducting a national search for this new leadership position, which will report to President Naganathan.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Declares Impasse with Faculty Union after Stalled Progress; University Hopes to Refocus Negotiations

Negotiations between ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) administration and faculty union (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ American Association of University Professors (OT-AAUP)) have stalled. As a result, the university is declaring an impasse in the negotiations.

As ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) begins implementing its new strategic plan, its journey to achieve a bold vision of becoming a world-class institution will be guided by an Executive Think Tank comprised of respected industry leaders from throughout Oregon and the U.S. The group gathered virtually for its inaugural meeting February 11.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ plans for in-person teaching when students return in fall 2021

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) is preparing to welcome students back to campus this fall term, which will begin September 29 for Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro campuses.

The University understands the importance of communicating its plans as early as possible, as it stays flexible and nimble, to ensure students and their families have the latest information for decisions on enrollment, housing, and other aspects of university life.
