¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ President Chris Maples announced Thursday that Brad Burda is appointed to the position of Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at OIT.

Six members of the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Respiratory Therapy class and their clinical instructor Breanna Bennett RRT participated in the Sky Lakes Medical Center's Annual Community Health Fair.

Renewable Energy Engineering students from OIT's Portland campus travel to Tanzania this summer to install solar panels in remote villages.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ earned the #7 spot among Best Regional Colleges in the Western U.S. in the 2011 edition of Best Colleges by U.S. News Media Group.

Nicholas Wisner, a junior Computer Software Engineering Technology student at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, participated in the 2011 Golden Ticket Project at Microsoft’s world headquarters in Redmond, Washington.

Students in the Introduction to Engineering class at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ will work in teams to plan, design, and construct passive solar chicken coops as part of a hand-on class project for the Winter 2011 term.

The State of Oregon announced that it has awarded a $43,110 grant to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Rural Outreach for College Access (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ ROCA) project that will support rural, first generation and low income students in their aspirations to attend college.

Students from ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering program were awarded scholarships from Korea University of Technology and Education (KUT) to participate in a three-week summer program at the university.
