Ahmed Ashour is an Assistant Professor of Computer Systems Engineering Technology at ‎¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and a Senior Member of IEEE. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and is ‎completing a second Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Idaho State ‎University. He brings more than 16 years of academic, technical, research, and managerial ‎experience in the United States and Egypt. Before joining ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, he served as a ‎Visiting Assistant Professor at Idaho State University. His background includes university ‎teaching, student mentoring, electronics product development, laboratory management, ‎and business leadership as a company CEO. His research covers artificial intelligence, ‎‎5G/6G networks, embedded systems, cybersecurity, signal processing, wireless ‎communications, and the Internet of Things. He has published 26 peer-reviewed works, ‎received Best Paper and Best Oral Presentation awards, reviewed more than 60 scholarly ‎papers, served as an NSF SBIR/STTR proposal panel reviewer, and contributed to writing ‎NSF research proposals.‎
