Applied Mathematics with option in Computational Mathematics
The Applied Mathematics major with a Computational Mathematics concentration equips students to solve complex real-world problems through programming and data analysis. In addition to core math requirements, you will build strong software foundations with C++ programming, object-oriented design, Linear Algebra II, and statistical methods, plus select 12 elective credits in topics like data science, machine learning, or software quality. Choose courses from the following list totaling at least 12 hours. Taking CST 236 is strongly recommended.
