¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ has achieved a new ranking: Research Colleges and Universities, a new designation from The American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, recognizing institutions that spend more than $2.5 million on research annually.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ's research activity focuses on projects that address real-world problems. Students don't wait until after graduation to do their part. Faculty members and students partner with businesses and government to benefit industry productivity and, by extension, social mobility and society.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ is pleased to announce the addition of Suzanne Kunse and Shane O’Brien to its Government Relations team. Kunse will serve as Associate Vice President of Government and Community Relations, and O’Brien joins as Associate Director of Government and Community Relations. Both bring extensive experience and a strong commitment to advancing ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ’s statewide mission.

Personal finance company SmartAsset has released its 2025 report of the Best Value Colleges in the U.S., with a degree from ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ noted as one of the highest values for your dollar in Oregon.

The following students have been named to the 2024-2025 Fall Term president's and dean's list at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. Only full-time undergraduate students (12 credit hours or more at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ) are eligible for academic honors. Please contact the Registrar's Office at 541-885-1300 with any questions.

PRESIDENT'S LIST
The following students have been named to the president's list at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. Inclusion on the list requires a 3.70 grade-point average and above.

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ has received two grants from the Higher Education Coordinating Commission (HECC) to support innovative workforce and talent development projects for the community. The grants amount to $1,209,546 for Applied Computing and User Experience (UX) Writing, Design, and Research.
