As part of an ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ entrepreneurship class, students met with innovators and business owners from around the world, including ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµâ€™s own alumni. These entrepreneurs included individuals from a wide variety of industries such as fitness, automotive, coffee shop, educational services and medical devices. The experience inspired both the students and alumni.
Commissioners Approve $150k Federal CARES Act Relief Grant for Supporting ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ COVID-19 Distance Learning
The Klamath County Board of County Commissioners awarded $150,000 in Coronavirus Relief Funds to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) to support remote learning and student-focused classroom improvements. The grant funds stem from a federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) allocation made earlier this year to the State of Oregon.

As part of assistant professor and co-director of Professional Writing at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ), Amber Lancaster, Ph.D., tasked her students to partner with professional clients to pursue funding for a number of community projects. The result of two of those projects amounted to $9,500 in grant funding awarded to the Klamath Falls Blue Zones Project.
