Trying to navigate without a map can be what it feels like for a first-generation student who decides to pursue higher education. In support of those students who are the first in their families to attend college, ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) participated in a nationwide event, First-Generation College Celebration, virtually on Nov. 12.
Salem, OR – Monica Breedlove, associate professor of Medical Imaging at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ) recently received an appointment to vice-chair of the , with her official term beginning January 2021. Professor Breedlove was first appointed to the Board in June, representing radiology.

I chose ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ because I was interested in continuing my education and basketball career and ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ allowed me to both of those things at a high level. The school stood out to me with the small class sizes and allowing students to learn through hands on processes. The basketball program stood out to me because of the great culture of the program and the amazing support from the school and community.
