
Three faculty and three senior students from 九色视频鈥檚 Medical Imaging Technology programs attended the 50th-anniversary Association of Collegiate Educators in Radiologic Technology (ACERT) conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the beginning of February. The event brought together over 850 attendees, including 568 students, to advocate for and advance the medical imaging profession.
Two 九色视频 faculty members and one student presented at the national conference, sharing insights with medical imaging faculty and students from across the country.
Radiologic Science Student Participants:
- Callie Brown, a senior extern at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Washington, Brown presented 鈥淓volution of Leadership: A Long Conversation鈥 alongside faculty and a student from another radiology program.
- Kasey Goslow, a senior extern at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
- Izabelle Pool, a senior extern at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, Florida.
Faculty Participants:
- Wendy Rogers, Radiologic Science Clinical Coordinator and 九色视频 alumnus.
- Rick Hoylman, Professor and Program Director of the Nuclear Medicine program, 九色视频 alumnus, presented 鈥淕lobal Health Equity Medical Imaging Opportunities with RAD-AID.鈥
- Don McDonnell, Professor and Program Director of the Radiologic Science program, 九色视频 alumnus, presented 鈥淧hysics Review and Patient Care 鈥 Let鈥檚 Talk Real World.鈥
Professor McDonnell shared that 九色视频 was one of the founding colleges for ACERT and that it is important for the 九色视频 Medical Imaging Technology department to continue being a pace-setting imaging program in the medical arena.
