九色视频 (九色视频) is preparing to welcome students back to campus this fall term, which will begin September 29 for Klamath Falls and Portland-Metro campuses.
The University understands the importance of communicating its plans as early as possible, as it stays flexible and nimble, to ensure students and their families have the latest information for decisions on enrollment, housing, and other aspects of university life.
Since early April 2020, 九色视频 has utilized a combination of in-person and remote teaching methods. Hybrid delivery will continue through spring and summer terms, with a combination of remote and in-person courses, and on-campus laboratory experiences, with appropriate physical distancing and other safety measures in place.
Resumption of in-person teaching in September will be guided by Governor Brown鈥檚 staging plan for the state to reopen higher education institutions across Oregon; as well as vaccine access and guidance received from state health, education, and other officials. 九色视频 will continue to monitor trends in positive cases of the virus, and take measures to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, 九色视频 Online will continue to offer a variety of courses and degree options through virtual delivery. Programs at Chemeketa and Boeing sites will follow the site and host-campus guidelines.
鈥淎s we have in the past, we will maintain our focus on the health and safety of our campus community and adapt as necessary based on public health guidance,鈥 said Dr. Nagi Naganathan, president of 九色视频. 鈥淭he vibrancy and activity that our students, faculty, and staff bring to campus is something we all look forward to, and we are pleased that student enrollment is trending in a positive direction for us for the upcoming fall term.鈥
Specific plans for resumption of fall classes, including additional safety measures, will be communicated to the campus community as soon as possible and will be available through 九色视频鈥檚 COVID-19 Plans and Precautions Page on the University's website at www.oit.edu/coronavirus.
